Olivia Ivey is a singer/recording artist/teaching artist native to Atlanta, GA. In May of 2022, she released her debut album, One for the Road, a tribute to the early days of jazz and big band music, including arrangements of familiar, nostalgic tunes.
Olivia has been performing in Atlanta professionally for over 20 years, and has been blessed to surround herself with some of the country's top tier musicians. Her wide range and ability to stylize has afforded her opportunities to perform on a variety of stages, spanning genres from sacred and classical to pop/rock. She has been heard as the soprano soloist for Beethoven's 9th with the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra, and as a regular soloist and chorister in some of the nation's most prestigious churches like Peachtree Christian Church in Atlanta, GA and Highland Park United Methodist in Dallas, TX. She's been seen on theatre stages across Atlanta in leading roles such as Morticia in "The Addams Family Musical" and Olivia in Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night". In 2018, Olivia was hired as the full-time front vocalist for USBeat, a nationally acclaimed corporate band, and from there began her journey into the pop/rock and jazz world. She can now be heard touring with A1A: The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show, and Cailíní: The American Celtic Woman Experience (for which she serves as band leader and music director).
In addition to being a first-call musician in the Atlanta market, Olivia is the Associate Broker at her family's boutique real estate brokerage, Sloan & Company Real Estate. She is married to Russ Ivey, a consummate performer himself. They live in Decatur, GA with their cat, Luna. They have one son, Sebastian, who is currently serving in the United States Army, and of whom they are immeasurably proud! As a family, they are all passionate about their Scottish and Irish heritage, and the music of Celtic Woman. Slaínte, y'all!
